BoatUpstate.com was created
as a way for boaters to gain and share information about
Upstate New York's boating destinations. We are locally
owned and operated and began boating in the area in
2003. As new boaters, we felt there was a lack of information
about the lakes, rivers, marinas, services, and boating
events specific to Upstate New York. As the founder
of MediaByte Inc., a technology development and marketing
firm, I was able to build the website and bring it to
the top of search engine results for relevant keywords
very quickly, which brings high quality visitors to
the site who contribute a lot of good information. We
are eager to continue adding entertaining and useful
content and will post a lot of videos and pictures of
